Privacy Policy

Overview

WeatherMemory is designed to help you explore historical weather data. We keep data collection minimal and do not require account registration.

Data we process

• Saved locations you add in the app (stored locally on your device).
• Optional current location if you tap "Use Current Location".
• Weather query parameters sent to weather providers to return historical weather.

How location works

Location permission is optional. If granted, your current location is used only to add your place and fetch weather for that place.

Third-party services

• Open-Meteo for historical weather and geocoding data.
• Apple MapKit APIs for map and location search capabilities.

Requests to these providers may include IP address and request metadata according to their own policies.

Tracking and advertising

WeatherMemory does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use cross-app tracking identifiers for advertising purposes.

Children's privacy

WeatherMemory is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
